1)      Let’s get out are homework

Journal:  (Suggested: 15 Minutes)

Part One: Identify the subject you are researching and identify three arguments relating to that subject you discovered as part of your research.

Part Two: Which of the arguments bearing on your chosen subject do you find yourself most in agreement with? Why? Are you in total agreement, or do you have your own take on the issue? Why?

Group Work: (Suggested: 10 Minutes)

Present your findings to the group, press each other for clarification.

Basic Structure

1)      Present the subject

2)      Present views on the subject

3)      Persuade the reader to believe in one view or in a view of your own that relates to a view on the subject.

Body paragraphs needs to follow the three-step process and have significant, explicit warrants

Homework:

A draft of parts one and two is due in class on Wednesday.
