1) I have had a chance to look at your first drafts, and they should be back to you now.
The issues that I am seeing in the current drafts are as follows:
Topic/Argument
Length of the introduction
Clarity is not as big of an issue as I had anticipated, which is very good news.
We are going to spend some time today generating thesis statements, just for extra practice. I will give you the topic, and you will give me thesis statements for it.
Okay, let’s look at chapter 19 — we also have some issues to deal with that pertain to sources.
